Housing Development

I mentioned a while back that I created some illustrations for a fabulous contemporary embroidery company, SublimeStitching.com. I think my favorite was the Atomic 50's ranch house...or maybe the fairy tale cottage, both sketches featured above. You can view and/or purchase the final pattern on Sublime's website here: HOUSES.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! LOVE!

When I saw the first image pop up on the side of my blog I thought - "gee I'd like to embroider that" and then I see you've partnered with Jenny Hart.

Two of my favourite ladies!! How aweseome. I will be buying your pattern for sure. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I'm so glad you liked the houses pattern, Denise - I had so much fun with it. And Jenny Hart is one awesome artist/businesswoman. I totally admire her! I hope you will post your finished embroidery project on your blog, I'd love to see it!

Well. I have been thinking about it- I would like to do one or two in black or maybe blueprint blue- but now I am getting scared that what I do won't be good enough for your art. I will post it as soon as possible

You are so silly and you flatter me senseless! Don't worry, these line drawings aren't fine art, just a starting point for someone's else's needlework. Whatever happens will be an improvement - you go girl!
